At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.
Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.
Our next Death Cafe will be in early 2024 and on a weekend. Please contact me if you know you are interested in attending and we can coordinate dates and times.
Who is Rowing your Healthcare Boat?
Using your Personal Values to Make Difficult Decisions
This is an interactive workshop where we discuss and determine our personal values; where they come from and how we incorporate them into our daily decisions. The second half of the workshop concentrates on how we can use those values in making decisions regarding our healthcare. We will present guides for emotional, physical and spiritual care along with what is needed to be best prepared for the end of life journey, for ourselves and those we care for.
Upcoming 2024 dates will be listed here.
Stay tuned.
